The Warren County Department of Public Works Garage, also known as the "storehouse" is located at the north end of Warrensburg on the east side of Route 9. Bertram Murray was the Superintendant of Highways when the property was purchased in 1926 from Russell Millington. J. Fred Acker developed the plans for the building and Acker Building Company of Glens Falls was the low bidder at $19,350. The bids were let in October of 1927. The building is 90 feet by 120 feet. The reinforced concrete floor was constructed by Julian Bocchi of Hudson Falls at a cost of $12,285. The storehouse was completed in the spring of 1928 and the equipment was moved from the barns at the rear of the Music Hall Block to their new location. (See Bertram E. Murray.)
