This contributing, c.l860, 2-story rectangular, flat-roofed commercial residential building extends between Hudson and Main Street, with storefront facades on both streets. It retains characteristics of the Italianate style and exhibits a stone foundation, wood clapboard siding 111 and 2/2 sash. The Hudson Street facade contains a recessed entrance with overhang; molded window surrounds, and decorative cornice brackets. The Main Street facade features twentieth century modifications in the form of an enclosed second story porch and storefront windows. Although the Main Street facade retains. somewhat less integrity than that on Hudson Street, this building continues to clearly communicate the mid-nineteenth and twentieth century commercial development of the hamlet.
