This  contributing building, constructed  c.1900  as  the Dud  Cameron  Store,  has  received  modification  in  the form  of front  porch changes,  new front door, and addition of aluminum  window sash.  However,  it retains its original gable front,  2-story plan, storefront windows, and second-story porch detailing, revealing its historic use as a commercial  structure.  A contributing garage is also on the property.

An unofficial branch was opened in Lewisville with about 60 numbered boxes for the benefit of the residents of that part of Warrensburg who lived more than a mile from the main post office.  It was maintained for many years at the store of L. A. Mosher but moved in 1924 to the D. B. Cameron store, opposite the woolen mill bridge.  This was closed when street delivery was instituted in 1938.

Maye's Store, located at 132 River Street (now American Legion) was operated by Henry and Olga Maye from 1950 until around 1962.  It sold primarily groceries and cold cuts and was formerly "Hadden's Market."

American Legion, Post 446, charted in 1919, has served the community of Warrensburg for over 93 years.  The American Legion is the country’s largest veteran’s organization.  Over the years Post 446 and its Ladies Auxiliary has assisted in organizing and participating in Memorial Day parades, placed wreaths on veteran’s gravesites, promoted leadership mentoring programs such as Boy’s and Girl’s State, poppy sale fund raising events, U.S. flag purchases, sponsorship of local Little League teams and memorial plaques of Warrensburg’s fallen service-men.  The post sponsored the first Warrensburg Boy Scout Troop (31) in 1928.  In the late 1940s it sponsored a ski competition at Hickory Hill Ski Bowl.  Winners of the event would have their names engraved on the Les Aiken Memorial Trophy.
