This contributing, substantial,  c.l880 Italianate style residence  continues  to clearly  communicate  its historic  association  with  late­ nineteenth century residential development along River Street.   It exhibits a 2-story, side-gabled  main block with 1-story gabled  wing on the east facade.  Period details  include 2/2 sash, slate roof, paired decorative  comice  brackets, stone foundation,  clapboard  siding and !-story,  flat-roofed entry porch with ornate detailing.
