This c.1850, wood frame residence recalls the early-to-mid nineteenth century residential development of River Street. Its side-gabled, two-story plan features original clapboard siding, gable cornice return, and brick chimney. More recent three-over-one sash replaced earlier multi-pane sash windows, and a one-story, wrap-around porch with Victorian period detailing is in evidence.
