This contributing, largely intact, c.l880, vernacular, wood frame residence exhibits period details such as gable front, 2-story plan with stone foundation, clapboard siding, brick chimneys and rear gabled wing. The 1-story, shed-roofed, front porch has turned wood columns without bracing. This residence continues to communicate its association with late-nineteenth century residential development of River Street.
