This  contributing, c.l920 Bungalow-style  residence,  with 1-1/2 story,  hip-on-gable  plan, stone  chimney,  original  multi-pane  sash. cornice  brackets. concrete  block foundations, and shed-roofed  dormer,  is another example of the  type of more substantial  and high­ style  residential development  which took place along Elm Street and Library  Avenue during the first quarter of the twentieth  century.
The property also contains a contributing intact rear outbuilding.


Carrie Young, widow of Alfred Judson Young sold the house in 1944 to Marcus Bruce, who later sold it in 1953 to Donald Borth.  This property was part of the Cunningham Farm Subdivision.
