This contributing, largely intact and architecturally  significant, c.1890 Queen Anne style residence reflects the late-nineteenth  century residential  development of the north part of the hamlet.   The cross-gabled,  2-story  plan with lower,  gabled  wing features  a gabled dormer,  slate roof,  and decorative  shingle-work  in the gable front.   Modifications  include  recent  sash  and  porch reworking.    The property  also includes a contributing, clapboard-sided  carriage barn.
