Once owned by Joyce Reed, this contributing, 1889,  2-story,  vernacular  wood  frame  residence  is a highly  intact  and  significant  resource  related  to the  late­ nineteenth century  residential  development  of River  Street.   The  building  features  many  period  details  including  2/2 sash,  boxed cornices, gable-front   plan,  stone  foundation   and  side   wing  with   gable   roof.     The   property   also  contains   a  contributing, contemporaneous, rear outbuilding.
