This  contributing. intact  and significant  example  of  mid-to-late  nineteenth  century,  Italianate-inspired  residential  architecture   is
among the most well-preserved  from this period on River Street.   Constructed c.l865, this 2-story gable front residence  with 1-story
gabled  rear wing, features  2/2 sash, clapboard siding, stone foundation and slate roof.  Other original  details include paired decorative
cornice  brackets  center  brick chimney, and 1 -story  front  entry  porch  with decorative  bracing  and  turned  wood  columns.    A rear shiplap
sided outbuilding  is a contributing resource on the property.
