This contributing, largely intact residence. constructed c.1930  by Ernest  Grinell,  is significant as a representative  example  of early­
twentieth century. residential architecture on River Street.  It features a gable-front  plan with shed-roofed  addition on the west facade. (_)Period features include 2/2 sash, exposed rafter tails, center brick fireplace,  and shingled and clapboard siding.   A contributing  garage
with exposed rafter tails is also on the property.
