This  contributing, c.1900  commercial  building  retains a high level  of  integrity and continues  to clearly  communicate its historic association  with turn-of-the  century commercial  activity in the hamlet.   It features a 2-story, gable front  design  with clapboard  wall sheathing,  shed-roofed  porch at second story  level with turned wood columns  and original  turned  wood  braces,  original  storefront entrance and window arrangement,  brick chimney, and contributing shiplap-sided  outbuilding with exposed rafter  tails.
